Batista
In the early years of his life, Dave Batista spent his time training and competing as a bodybuilder. He joined the Wild Samoan Afa’s wrestling school in Allentown searching for a way to make a good living. However, after he was told he doesn't have the chops to make it in this profession, wrestling became an obsession for him. The WWF assigned him to work under the nickname Kahn with Afa Anoai.
Batista made its debut in 2000 joining forces with Synn in Ohio Valley Wrestling. He proved to be successful and even won the OVW Heavyweight Championship. After losing the belt to The Prototype, he was sold to Reverend D-Von and began his career in the World Wrestling Entertainment federation. Under this brand, he made his debut on May 2002 SmackDown! as Deacon Batista. In his first match, he teamed up with D-Von in a tag team against Randy Orton and Faarooq.
2005was the year when Batista's popularity increased more and more, Triple H considering him a threat to his World Heavyweight Championship, even suggesting Dave not join Royal Rumble. Still, Batista did not quit and won the World Heavyweight Championship on April 3, 2005 at WrestleMania 21. A month later, Triple H and Batista were confronted again, fighting for the World Heavyweight Championship. He successfully defended his title on several occasions and became the first player ever to defeat Triple H at three consecutive pay-per-views.
Soon after defending his title against Eddie Guerrero, it was reported that Batista suffered a muscle tear. For this, Batista was aked to leave the World Heavyweight Championship at the SmackDown! show in January 2007.Kurt Angle was the one that took the title from Batista. July 7, 2006 was Dave made his return on SmackDown! in Philadelphia starting a feud with the man that injured him, Mark Henry.
At Saturday Night's Main Event, Dave won his first match after returning to the wrestling world. Batista later faced Big Show in an effort to win back his ECW World Championship and also went against King Booker for his World Heavyweight Championship. He won the matches but due to a disqualification thus failing to win the titles back.
At the beginning of this year, Batista announced that he would defend the World Heavyweight Championship at the 2007 Royal Rumble at an opponent decided through a show. Batista successfully retained the title against the Sprint winner, Mr. Kennedy but also started a conflict with with the Undertaker.
