Chavo Guerrero

For Guerrero, wrestling has always been a part of his family and his life. He comes from a family of wrestlers, his grandfather Gory Guerrero being a well known fighter and promoter and his late uncle, Eddie Guerrero a prominent figure in the wrestling world. He began his career at an early age wrestling with his uncle during Gory’s shows in Texas. Chavo's first victories appened during the WCW in 1996, winning the Cruiserweight Championship twice during his time spent there. The title of Cruiserweight Championship was won three more times after he joined the WWE in 2001.

An ex-WWE Tag Team Champion, Chavito teamed up with his uncle to win the gold in 2002. After Eddie passed away in November 2005, Chavo adopted in his honor the Frog Splash as his own finishing maneuver and dedicated each game he played to his late uncle. Rey Mysterio also said he would dedicate his victories to Eddie's memory but after he won the World Heavyweight Championship, conflicts between Guerrero and Mysterio started to arise and Chavo defeated Rey Mysterio thanks to a frog splash at SummerSlam 2006.

In October 2006, the tables turned and Rey Mysterio defeated Guerrero at No Mercy 2006. The latter challenged the winner to an "I Quit" Match, in which Guerrero won after painful chair shots inflicted on Rey. Mysterio was forced to leave SmackDown!, relieving some tension between the two.  A new conflict arose between Guerrero and Chris Benoit but the latter defeated Chavito, wining the WWE United States Championship at Survivor Series 2006. The two were then confronted again at Armageddon 2006, battle which Chavo lost again. At WWE No Way Out 2007, Chavo Guerrero won with his famous Frog Splash defeating Jimmy Wang Yang and getting the title WWE Cruiserweight Championship.
