Mr. Kennedy
Ken Anderson or Mr. Kennedy first served the United States Army and then joined the wrestling world with Eric Hammers & Mike Krause as his trainers. From 2001 to 2004, he appeared on the WWE Jakked, Velocity and Sunday Night Heat as a try-out and also made few appearances on the TNA Xplosion. After signing his first major contract with the WWE, Ken was sent to train with the Ohio Valley Wrestling league, six months later appearing on Velocity.
August 25, 2005 was the day Mr. Kennedy made its debut on SmackDown!, where he defeated Funaki. After being faced with Eddie Guerrero in a match and losing to him, Kennedy took part in WWE's overseas tour. On his second day in the tour, Kennedy suffered a muscle tear and was informed that he would need surgery. The surgery proceeded fine but the wrestler still needed six months to fully recover.
Kennedy announced at the beginning of September 2006 that he wanted to move to RAW because he already defeated every top performer in the SmackDown! series. In response to this, SmackDown! Manager Theodore Long organized a match between Kennedy and The Undertaker, which Ken won by disqualification. Kennedy then teamed up with Montel Vontavious Porter against the Brothers of Destruction but they lost and got counted out.
Though he couldn't wrestle, he appeared on various shows as a commentator. Kennedy returned to SmackDown! on January 5, 2007 ending his game with a victory to Chris Benoit. In a rematch on SmackDown!, Batista defeated Kennedy again, after which the latter starting a feud with ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley. This conflict led to a match at No Way Out which Kennedy won by disqualification.
