Bobby Lashley

After winning 3 amateur championships between 1996 and 1998 Franklin “Bobby” Ashley decided to pursue a career in wrestling and join NAIA National Wrestling Champion. After competing for one year, he went on and joined the United States Army, where he continued to wrestle. 2003 was the year when Bobby joined the professional wrestling world by signing a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment. Lance Storm was his trainer in the Ohio Valley Wrestling federation.

Having received the nickname Blaster Lashley, he appeared in 2005 in several live events under the brands RAW and SmackDown!. In his first match he was victorious and defeated Simon Dean, after which, in his pay-per-view debut at No Mercy 2005, Lashley defeated Dean once again. He continued his victorious streak by defeating many wrestling superstars on Velocity and SmackDown!.

In January 2006, Lashley became the first player that announced his presence during that year's Royal Rumble. Even though he was the eight player to enter the game, he made quite an impression after eliminating Sylvan. However, he ended up being eliminated the sixth by RAW's World Tag Team Champions Kane and The Big Show.

No Way Out 2006 was the place Lashley would settle the differences he had for quite some time with John "Bradshaw" Layfield. After a series of losses, Lashley was forbidden by his doctor to wrestle because of elevated enzymes of the liver. However, this would not stop him and he returned a few weeks later on SmackDown! and won for the World Heavyweight Championship at No Mercy 2006 defeating King Booker. At the beginning of this year, Lashley entered the "Battle of the Billionaires" representing Donald Trump and facing Vince McMahon's representative, Umaga. Donald Trump and Lashley then shaved McMahon's head, according to the rules of the game.
