London started training for becoming a professional during college, at the Shawn Michaels' Texas Wrestling Academy. In order to focus only on his wrestling career, he dropped out of college and made his first appearance during The Undertaker and Ric Flair's fight that eventually lead to WWF WrestleMania X-8. He was promoted by Ring of Honor and became better known after the feud with Michael Shane.
His final appearance in the Ring of Honor was the attempt to de-throne World Champion, Samoa Joe, that ended unsuccessful. In 2003, he made four appearance with the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, the partnership ending in June 2003 at the TNA Anniversary show. His victory in front of X-Division Champion Chris Sabin if it wasn't for the interference of CM Punk. He then signed a WWE Development deal in the middle of 2003 and made his official debut on the SmackDown! brand, losing to Brock Lesnar.
He teamed up with his friend Brian “Spanky” Kendrick, becoming a mainstay on Velocity until Spanky quit because of the low salary he was paid. He then formed a more successful duo with Billy Kidman and defeated The Dudley Boyz in the WWE Tag Team Championship. The duo came to an end after Kidman left London to defend himself against René Duprée and Kenzo Suzuki.
After a series of injuries that required several months to heal, London came back to Velocity in December and defeated his formed team mate, Kidman. In the 2005 WWE No Way Out, he started a feud with Chavo Guerroro but he suffered defeat in the WWE Cruiserweight Open. After healing from the injuries inflicted upon him, he recovered and won the challenge by Guerrero at Judgement Day.
After he was taken off TV to deal with injuries and home problems, he faced a losing streak only to come back and re-team with the newly rehired Brian Kendrick. They made a great show during the WWE Tag Team Championship and also defeated their old enemy MNM at Judgment Day 2006. On February 2, 2007, London and Kendrick went through a loss that didn't cost them the title to the rookie team Deuce 'N Domino. On March 17, 2007 London and Kendrick enjoyed their 300th day as WWE Tag Team Champions. This represents the 4th longest streak in WWE Tag Team History behind the longest record of the Demolition, 478 days.
