Umaga
Armando Estrada and his protégé Umaga have been considered, since their debut, a real force in the wrestling world. They first came onto the stage in WrestleMania 22, when they interrupted Ric Flair. Estrada described himself as a Cuban businessman that witnessed Flair's childhood in Cuba. He admired Flair and decided to introduce him as America's new hero, in an effort to change Monday Night RAW.
Edward Umar Fatu or Umaga wrestled in many independent promotions but also in companies such as the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) or the All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW). Fatu was successful in the latter formation, winning the AJPW Unified World Tag Team Championship with the the Roughly Obsess & Destroy faction. At the end of 2005, Fatu announced his return to World Wrestling Entertainment , leaving behind the AJPW.
In April 2006, during an edition of RAW, Fatu made his re-debut under the nickname Umaga, with his manager Estrada. Umaga soon joined at SummerSlam the The McMahons against their D-Generation X (Shawn Michaels and Triple H) opponents. However, Umaga was attacked by Kane and the conflict between them lasted two months until Umaga won a Loser Leaves RAW match. Umaga remained undefeated.
On another edition of RAW, Umaga attacked Cena, injuring his spleen and putting the match in peril. Cena refused medical treatment, he continued the fight by chocking Umaga. He didn't lose his calm and later won his first WWE championship on February 19, 2007.
Jeff Hardy was defeated and the WWE Intercontinental Championship became Umaga's. He didn't not stop at this; Umaga began a feud with ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley after the first was chosen for the Battle of the Billionaires match and the latter by Donald Trump at WrestleMania 23. Even though Shane McMahon interfered, Lashley defeated Umaga
